Yeah they do, especially when you pet them. It's something to do with suckling behavior and the adult cat not growing out of it properly.

cant hear his purr sadly but yeah. he loves to nut my leg or jump up and claw my balls. I think he's trying to imitate me stroking him with failures all round. great laugh though.
