You know shows like The OC, and the new one Gossips Girls where Rich Kids goes to Private school and talk about nothing but Boys, shopping and Holidays seems far fetched? It appears that they are a lot closer to home !

Was on the train this morning to work, Hereford to Worcester, and as usual its packed with commuters and school kids when it's a couple of station from Worcester. I was listening to my ipod (crap earphones) and overheard the 3 girls that came on the train and sat in the seats at the table who goes to the local private school and began having a conversation when they got on, I only caught the odd line here and there but it goes something like.

Girl 1 - You going to Carlifornia in March (school trip)?
Girl 2 - Yeah, you know they don't let us swap seats once we are on it? What's that about?
Girl 3 - I know !
Girl 2 - May be we can ask our parents to upgrade us to First class.
Girl 3 - Is your parents going to France skiing ?
Girl 1 - Yeah, they are leaving the day after we go and back the day before we get back, yours going to Dublin?

(And somehow there were mention of Ireland, Italy and Poland in there somewhere)

.... I had to turn up my music before I could take anymore and good thing the journey was short-ish.

We have a mini-oc near me, its called "Forest Row". Full of kids who'll never ever have to work thanks to mummy and daddy.
I wouldn't mind so much if they weren't stuck up snobbish turds :)

Disclaimer: They aren't ALL snobbish turds, I'm sure...

Lived in Wilmslow and right next to Aldery Edge for a few years, I saw this all the time. Always referred to as 'Mummy & Daddy'. Some of them were slightly more intelligent and realised that they sound like total tools acting like those girls of telling the world what they have/getting or what they do/doing. The decent ones just kept they're mouth shut but knew full well their parents were worth more.

When they get sent to private school it's no Holiday camp, the parents can have high expectation for their kids, if they can do it, the kids can.

My cousin lives in a big house in Wilmslow and their kids are exactly those sort of kids.
I only really ever see them when I'm back up north for Christmas but you can tell they're going to end up complete ****s
