Oh i know what you mean, but i think faking something like that, then it getting put onto AOL and other sites is a little hard.

It is actually the most rational explaination why it hasn't hit the reputable news sites, or has been pulled from them. It wouldn't be the first time faked news has been reported as fact and subsequently retracted.
 
its done all the time.

Like the website where you could write a message on a bit of cardboard that an Iraqi kid was holding. Made it all over the world press with many different anti-american messages and other tripe.
