COD4 overtakes Halo3 on XBL

Good I say :) Halo 3 was the worst disappointment in history... Sold it on eBay last week - what a waste of cash :(
 
Halo3 MP consists of running as fast as you can towards the enemy with your fingers on the trigger and jump continuously until you close enough to bash them.

What a pointless exercise! I cannot play this for more than about 5 minutes before wanting to throw my controller at the screen.

Where as COD, ok has its annoyances (Random grenade throwing to name the big one) but its soooo addictive and lots of fun to play as your strategy can completely change depending on the map and your choice of weapon.

Take some time to rank up. Playing higher ranking people results in a lot more tactical game, especially on doubles.

Personally I find COD4 to be a more spray and pray game.
 
have to agree, had cod 4 since release and just completed single player and left on shelf.

Watched brother playing on Live the other day and it aint been out the drive since ! multiplayer is awesome ! best i have played since counter strike !

THE best weapon on COD4 is the M16. You can spray and prey all you like but you wont get any kills.
 
i find Halo is more of a team based game. In CoD4 it seems everyone is more conserned about getting a higher rank. However i find the CoD4 multiplayer experience a lot better but i still enjoy playing Halo with mates team doubles is always a laugh :p

Not surprised by that, but I am VERY surprised about GH3 been in 3rd position. I know it's got Live capabilities, but didn't think that many people would be playing it!

That is impressive stuff, so Halo3 clearly does not have the longevity of Halo 2 as I think prior to Halo3 (and maybe GOW) that was the highest played game based on UU and that was fo well over 1-2yrs (I think).
