Going to suggest a re-install of Windows XP MCE for a college with ad-ware and trojans infestation. It's an old eMachines PC with the installation image on partition D:
Instead of using Windows Update to get post SP2 files, if there any reason not to use SP3 release candidate?
I assume if there is any change come final release version of SP3, the alterations will be picked up by Windows Update. And will it be list Serive Pack 3 or Service Pack 3 Release Candidate on system properties?
