Hi, I was just wondering if there is any signs of knowing if someone is on steroids? Any dead gives aways like I dunno their body shape/how much they lift for their size etc etc?

get them to drop trow and check for needle marks in their arse, maybe difficult if you dont know them very well

They aren't spots what they get, they're massive boils! Disgusting they are, one of my mates is absolutely huge and I've seen boils on his back so big you could see them bulge through his T-shirt.

If using testosterone some can get very aggressive. Sends the odd few absolutely nuts in my experience.

These two reasons alone are enough to keep me natural, at least until I hit 35. Even then I'd only use them to put me on a level playing field with the younger guys, no interest in being huge.

I know plenty of guys in my gym that are "on", some who compete and some who just use it to put some size on.

None of them have crazy spots, aggression or any other visable problems. My gyms full of knowledgable people though so the cycles are fairly mild. Some big boys though!

I think most of the horrer stories if not all are from improper use / protocols.

i hate the whole boils/back one. I had acne as a kid and was unlucky enough to have a rare scarring condition which means injuries to my torso scar like a son-of-a-bitch. Meaning my back is very scarred with large lumps. If i get big these will be passed off by noobs as roid boils. And there's sweet FA i can do about it.

Personally the easiest way to tell is if they have any 'oversized' muscles, usual biceps in gym retards. Most poor roid users have uneven development. I have no problems with the ones who do it sensibly. Calling all roid users bad is like calling all speeders bad. Its contextual

I also get spots on my back / shoulders, if I wear a vest training everyone assumes I'm on the juice.

Complement in a way....

They normally clear up a bit with some sun though, GOOD THING WE LIVE IN THE UK!! :D

Most certainly but not all.

What I failed to mention earlier is the guy with the boils abuses steroids to the maximum. He knows his stuff but this just allows him to really abuse to the absolute limit, crazy guy who just does not give a ****.

I have marks on my back that are clearly visible when I'm pale but dissappear when I have a tan. Looks like loads of spots but when you look closely they're just marks, looks like I'm scarred from acne but I never had any.

Just had some appear on my chest aswell, no idea what they are!

Fungal infection? I recently got a bout of white blotches that only show up in low UV, doc sorted me out with anti fungal stuff (ewww) or could be a reaction to something? My m8 got weird marks from a flavouring in a type of whey he used.

Don't want to steer this towards a medical advice thread, but that sounds a little like pityriasis.

Just googled it and it's definately not that.

They don't grow or anything or change and disappear in the summer when I get a tan. Always thought they were spots from sweating in the gym until very recently.

I was thinking maybe they're something to do with a lack of sunlight, maybe a vitamin D deficiency?
