Not sure why but when i take some good quality photo's on a cloudy day i can see them just fine on the lcd screen. But after they've been uploaded to computer they seem much darker.

Is it because i'm shooting in raw mode and i have to sort that out in pp ?

What camera are you shooting with? and what are you using to view the files with on your computer? canon raw? CaptureNX? Photoshop?

Remember, if you're shooting in Raw, the white balance and adjustments such as "landscape/portrait" will take effect.

LCD screens are quite often much brighter than desktop screens because the backlight can be quite strong.
Another factor could be that your monitor brightness is set low.

A few things to do to fix this :
Match your camera LCD and desktop monitor brightness - Hold them side-by-side with the same photo on each.
Use the Histogram on your camera to correctly judge the exposure of the image.
Calibrate your desktop monitor
