The only generalisation I made in that thread wasn't anything to do with driving skill. You are mistaken.Somewhere in amongst this legendary thread: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17816574

You don't deserve to drive a 330i, you drive like a complete **** and you'll kill someone if somebody doesnt stop you.
Better?![]()
I WILL NOT STATE THE SPEED I BELIEVE I WAS TRAVELLING AT ON THESE FORUMS
I haven't decided whether I'll even go to the court, so to say anything now would be premature. Why? You're going to have to say how fast you were going when you're in court, provided that you don't plead guilty.

I am responsible for this, but, of course, am also annoyed about being charged (and who wouldn't be?).Do you take any responsibility for this, or are you just ****** off with being caught?
Genuine question as I see zero remorse from you, in fact you seem to be taking it as a bit of a joke
Time to grow up a bit chap.
Was £1038 last renewal (for 10 months). I don't imagine anything being that cheap for a long time after this!I am just amazed that he got insurance on the car in the first place. 3.0l car, a bmw at that and only being 21 so in the middle age bracket. Must have cost a pretty penny.

If my actions had caused suffering for someone else, then it would be selfish of me to not regret it regardless of the positive effect it may have on me, but as it is, a victimless crime?
Will it take you killing/hurting someone before you grow up?

I'm just making it appear that way. Though I haven't thought much about what has happened, I've thought a great deal about what could happen. During stressful periods at work, I've sat there, staring in to the sky, terrifying myself about what could happen to me... what if I were imprisoned? It could ruin my entire life. It comes back round to that remorse situation again and balancing my actions with the rest of the world.I'm sorry, but you still seem to be taking this so lightly.
i got a 3 month ban for doing 128 in a 60 through a camera
What I do with the car depends on the punishment. Few weeks ban and it'll sit outside my house. Few months? Probably give it to my mum to nanny. Any longer and I'll be considering giving it to a friend if he'll take it. Selling is a possibility in all scenarios, just not one I've considered that much. I don't really want to lose the car as I've become quite attached to it.Agree with thatmight be a bit of a reality check. i read before that you may give/sell it to a friend to keep it on the road, is that still the plan?
Remember that a mobile camera could have been hidden, and he was probably concentrating on the road and it's immediate surroundings rather than what's on top of a flyover etc.Even still, how can you even think you can be safe at 128mph if you can't Aeven see far enough ahead to know to slow down for a camera?
If you have no time for him quit posting in the thread at all. Whilst I agree he did something stupid he's going to be punished for it by the courts anyway.
