Spec me some Teg wheels

I wouldnt expect to get 350 for your normal teg wheels......you will be lucky to get 300 with decent tyres.

I run black slipstreams in 15s with 195 50 15s and white grids in 16s....im the same as Drexel and run 205.45.16

As for tyres i like Parada Spec 2s....nice and stiff sidewall...you just have to be careful in the cold....they really need heat

They aren't stock teg wheels, they are some rare things. Guy I bought the car from has a few people who want them so its all good :)

Dome you got any pics with the wheels fitted?
 
Rota Slipstreams are identical to Regamaster Evos, minus the writing. Not as light as genuine Evos either.

ET40 will fit fine, and actually fill the arches a little better than ET45. You may get a slight increase in tramlining though.

Decided to go with the grids, now the hard part. White, Silver, Bronze, Gunmetal with polished lip or black. For some boring reason I'm actually tending towards silver. I had black wheels on a silver ATR and it looked good, so I'm thinking to just reverse that and use silver wheels on black for a more sort of standard look.
 
Finally took a piccy of the current wheels. It turns out they are very rare and can fetch up to £650 if in good nick (which they are)! Selling these will get me the rotas + 4 tyres.

OK, the looks are marmite, but seriously you are looking to replace an extremely lightweight racing wheel with a cheap copy Rota.

I demand that you either:
a) At least try to learn to love them.
b) Stump up for TE37's. At least then you won't be making your car worse for the sake of looks, which is not really what the 'teg is about ;)

PS They actually look really good on a white car, I can see where it goes wrong on a black one though :(
 
How much are TE37s and where can I get them? Will have a looksie.
The rotas are still lightweight and its not like I'm getting 18s or something so I don't think the ruining the car comment is just.

I can see them working on a white car, but on the black its just silly imo.

EDIT just looked up TE37s, they are lovely! How much are we talking for them? Not paying anything extra from selling the current wheels.

Got my TE's for £550 then you need tyres, all depends really they will have to come from a forum or our fav auction site, unless you want to pay 1k+ new.
 
Tim I'm having to be unpopular and go for 16"s, I think 15"s look too small. I'm prepared to take the slight comprimise in performance, I just think 15s look TINY on the teg.

Any other ideas for wheels while I'm looking around. Ideally 5/6 spokes that are quite simple in design. Silver or gunmetal/anthrite
