18 year old + M5 and 5 friends =

tbh its all about skill over confidence, ive got 320 odd hp under my bonnet

No, you have not. Your DADS car has 320bhp under his bonnet. Stop pretending its yours becuase it isnt. You wont win any kudos or fame here by pretending you've got an uber car becuase:

a) Many peoples fathers on this forum own better cars than a 645Ci anyway
b) Many people themselves on this forum own better cars than a 645Ci anyway.

Honestly, give up. It's not funny and it's daft. I mean, a BMW sig as well?

You don't even own a BMW. It either doesnt exist or it belongs to your father.

Implying you own your fathers car is lame.

this isnt about whether i have the skills or not, this is about my point that you skill shoud determine what car you drive not your age....

You are 17. You have little to zero skill. You develop skill with age.

I'm older than that and I still don't think I have the skill to handle an M5 properly, for example. People with a high opinion of their own skill are an accident waiting to happen.

Age has everything to do with it. Packing your car with mates and showing off is a completely natural thing for somebody of 18.

That car being a 2008 M5, however, is not.

How on earth did he get hold of such a car.

Id assume dad, one of my friends is 18 and drives m6 in dubai, ive warned him :D

A) You dont know what my dad drives
B) i drive this car everyday as my dad bought it for me to drive to school, surly it makes it mine does it not ?
C) Whats the fact people own better cars than a 645ci got to dow with anything :/ im not competing here

A) You dont know what my dad drives

I assume he drives a 645Ci.

So why did you ask us to spec you an £8k cheap car? Do you honestly expect us to believe your Dad bought a 645Ci to get to school and back? If you really did own a 645Ci wouldnt you want a picture of the car you actually drive in your sig? Becuase the car in your sig is an M6 Cabrio.

No with experience actually.

Yea, you've got BAGS of that at 17, right?

Anyway back on to topic,

Topic is parents letting their kids have high powered cars. Fraid we are spot on topic ;)

i still believe skill determines what car you drive over age imho.

Young people rarely have the skill as you quite rightly pointed out it's gained through experience. Something a 17 year old doesnt have on the road.

Not really, maturity does. I know a couple of drivers who have never touched "slow" cars and have driven them since very young ages (15+) without problems.

It just depends on if you have something between your ears or not.

Sorry but thats BS, unless ron dennis is your best mate and he's known you since 8 then the more you drive the more skills you get, you haven't got urber skills at 17, you are at the very start of learning.

Also, its not your 645 whatever, you've posted about 5 times saying you have access to your dads, either get your story straight or stop digging a hole.

Add something to the fleet ;)
I dont want you to believe it as i honestly dont care whether you believe me or not, sick of threads getting hijacked over this. Doing a sig now.
