18 year old + M5 and 5 friends =

I'm 18 and I think I am a responsible driver, my clean license shows this as well as my 2 years NCB, the difference is I DON'T think I could drive an M5 safely simply down to the fact I just don't have the experience yet which comes with years and years of driving.

Yes but the percentages say you can blanket all 18 year olds as morons, how is that rubbish?

Also what is this guys name?

Also if he is going to drive F1, why is he still at school???

He wants A levels and an education to fall back on, clearly something your lacking by what i can read ;)

Are you trying to say you CAN blanket all 18 year olds as morons and that that statement isnt rubbish

You know nothing about me, my educational status, which job i have nor how much i earn.

All i do know is i don't need to spout BS on some forum to validate myself, nor do i need to take handouts from Daddy.

So he wants A levels to fall back on, so whats he going to do, after being payed millions to race he's going to go back cooking burgers in mc donalds for £5 an hour?

Please stop.

I just realised. Us young guys are not more likely to have an accident through inexperience at all.

Thats why our insurance is so cheap!

What age you are at means how good your skills are, not how good your skills are shows how good you are.

So your age defines what car you should be allowed to drive, not what driving skills you have should be able to define what car you have.

Education is pointless if you become a racing driver, no need to have something to fall back on...

Shocking:eek:

We have no idea how long he had been driving the BM'er for but one thing is for sure, it could have happened in any car.

Get a loads of mates in your BMW or 1.1 Saxo.........show off trying to show them what it can do and countless times, they crash.

Yes you'd have to do well to get a 1.1 Saxo with 5 people to fly through the air. It seems like he was possibly showing his mates what the car could do and it went horribly wrong.

I like this Kirkland fella, he uses distraction techniques to cover up the previous BS. How many posts before the moon is made of cheese ?

The real Tragedy is the other 4 kids who died, sure they got in wanting a thrill ride in an M5 and that of course was naive but the driver should have respected their lives even if he didnt respect his own.

Many things come with getting older, the realisation that you are not invulnerable being the first step towards better driving.

Interesting, what would be worse, crashing at 90mph in a saxo or 150 in an m5?

Good Post :)

Brutal Darwinian effect there. Sadly taking out other people. I could speculate if his friends were egging him on, but won't.

As for the arguement going on in this thread, for once, I'm with Fox...
