is it usual for door mice to set up home in your car?

Awww...That'd be cool to have as a pet in your car :)

Did it bring the McD's into the car on it's own?

I do hope so! Otherwise your car is a bin, and all good bins need mice/tramps.

p.s. I can supply a tramp if you want to be REALLY cool.

pps i'm only being silly, no offense intended unless you are... a heron. I hate herons.

hehe yea I tend to put rubbish in my passenger footwell just because its easier to do that then empty it all out at once :p

If it's actually a dormouse (fat fluffy tail) and not a normal house mouse, be careful; they're endangered iirc.

*n

I dont know whether its a doormouse but its very light in colour (similar to the picture posted) dont know what other rodents are that colour apart from the doormouse?

So you're actually keeping it as a pet in your car? won't it smell of mouse poo? and wouldn't the possibility of sitting on mouse poo increase the longer it's there?

Reminds me of that scene with tommy and his cat in train spotting.

Give the little guy a name.

nah believe it or not it actually comes and goes as it pleases, there is a hole big enough for a mouse where my wiring comes through and it goes in and out of it, I dont know what I will call it though, but im happy for it to sleep there :D

GET RID OF THEM!

My granddad had one car Damaged (steering rack) and another written off by mice eating all the rubber. The latter was a serious amount of damage, fuel lines, coolant hoses open, spark plug HT leads bare, cv boots open. Oddly enough they left the Uno which was parked next to it in the garage alone. They seem to prefer clean rubber to oily grimey rubber.

We now have humane traps in all 4 corners of the garage, baited with poison.

My mates swears a small mouse ran across the dash in his yaris then hid under the backseats.
It's used daily so I don't how or why it got in. Gave him a nice shock on the way to work though. :D

As stated above, yah they will eat through rubber/wiring for kicks, and stink to high heaven when it decides to die behind the head unit ;P.
