hi all,

just bought a 42" Toshiba Z series and connected to my consoles, can anyone help with the following..

1/ when i connected my PS3 via HDMI the PS3 asked if i wanted to alter my settings to 1080p, i said yes. is there any other settings i should alter on the PS3/TV to get best performance.

2/ my 360 will be connected via component to the TV, so same as above, is there anything i should alter on 360/TV for best performance.

regards

For the PS3, depending on your TV, you can enable a couple of otherr options for the PS3 from the "Display" Settings (HDMI full colour range and some pure white thing, which are specific to some TVs with HDMI).

For the 360 you just need to set the correct resolution in the dashboard for 1080p, there are no further settings when using Component as fas as I know. Bear in mind not all TV's support 1080p over the component port (this is down to the TV not the 360)
