How Dodgy is paypal+ebay?

Yes, Paypal can still reverse the money even if the bidder is verified. I lost ~£300 payment for a mobile phone. Paypal just ignored my emails when this problem came up

Should always transfer the funds to your bank account before you post the item.

Why not try advertising in the loot instead.Wont cost you a penny either, and you will also be getting the cash in your hand.

I think you're mad to consider using Paypal for something like this, i'd try another site that will let you specify BT as a payment option.

Hmmm... if you read the policy and make sure the seller has no way to de-fraud you... then you should be fine... pretty common mistakes are not using tracked delivery... i recommend special delivery on expensive items or courier. all other items should be sent using recorded delivery at the very minimum.

Don't use it if i can help it. My way is to get the Buyer to send me a Postal order, Once received i send out the goods. If they don't like it they can **** off. The way i see it is he gets my address to send the P.O. so this guarantees that it is my address, same goes with his address, he has to give me a straight one or he won't receive the goods. Once i have an addy i am happy.
In Any & All deals on Ebay though i Insist that my buyers phone me, Any dodgyness at all or i just don't like the sound of them they can **** off an all. There are plenty of sound buyers out there so i am happy to **** off the Messers.
I am the worst seller in the World though if you Mess me no matter how much you want it or i want to sell it. Either it's a Gentleman's agreement type deal or you can get to ****.

Wasn't expecting to pay £15 fees, but it said I had to upgrade to accept :/ Bit cheeky after I've already been sent the money and been forced to use Paypal because of the type of product. But atleast I know someone will get some good use out of the Wii
