How would you define pet quality? Is a pedigree a pedigree because of a piece of paper? Or becuase of it's family line? Either way, we've got the piece of paper and the bloodline. What we don't have is a tick on the paper saying that we had a pedigree on the breeding register.

Our cats are pets, if they have kittens, they have kittens. They aren't sold as pedigree because they're a crossbreed of two pedigree.
 
we've got a siberian husky which we bought from a breeder its pure blood and a pedigree .but she didnt come with paperwork because the breeder had breed past its quota for the year. anyway ours goes to an occasional dog open days and we met a breeder that we got talking to and she slapped my mum on wrist and told her of for buying tess from money making breeder.
our next ones gonna come from the breeder we met and she wants it spayed(not sure on spelling) and photos every 6 months just to be sure she's being taken care off properly and we have to carry the name the breeder give to all its dogs.

It's contract that some breeders and rescue centres want, There are also contracts that state if the dogs needs to be rehomed for any reason it must come back to the breeder for first choice.

Regarding the name it's a form of advertising at shows, which will help the breeders with future breeding plans.

And I have to also say how cool Dave looks :D,I am amazed he likes having a lead on him ? ,my cat goes ape if I try and put a lead on her.
 
Gorgeous. British Blue is one of the best breeds IMO of cats. Meet out british blue - she would make a good girlfriend to your male ;)

Very true. I don't get the whole pedigree thing, just seems like another way for people to take something natural and charge the earth for it.

LOL, everytime i scrolled down to see the "I can has cheeseburger" pic i just burst out laughing, but to be fair, Dave is a beast! :D he looks like he can warm your lap well ;)

the mother is very cute looking as are the kittens.
