Price question

They make money like any other business, fair enough a VERY nice profit at that but thats why they are around today.

Most people will disagree with you who earn stupid money as it matters very little the cost of these things but I am NOT one of these people.

I was going to post a reply of why they cost that much, but I think the OP is just trolling on his replies back anyway.

well remember he didn't know you could illegally download games till he was sued for it ;)

He's clearly not the most knowledgeable fella.

They're in bussines to maximise money. They self them for that much because in generates the most long term revenue.

forget it, small mindedness and ignorance is rife in this forum

WTF? I've just read over this thread. What do you want people to do?

Agree over your imaginary figures and completly ignore the facts of how much it costs to actually make something.

But I'll stop now I need to go suckle at the teet of the fat cats.

Jesus DiceHunter, you're probably one of the most naive people I've seen on these forums...and that's saying something!

Do you honestly think Intel is going to spend $100m on a production factory, another $50m on R&D, another couple $$m on advertising, packaging and production - only to sell them at $1, and pray at least 200m people buy them to break even?

Get a life - they're in the business for profit, not for the fun of it.

Although I do agree Britain gets shafted harder than the USA, you shouldn't expect technology for £0.00000001. If you can't afford to buy today's technology, then hard cheese - wait your turn, in a few months time.

Dave awaits your suckeling.

This thread must stop! It's breaking every known law of Economics and Business! The OP is not only mangling commercial matters he knows next to nothing about, he's also dallying in both European and International markets and throwing in an astonishing display of exchange rate/price comparison incompetence for no very good reason.

Think of the children :-(

*sobs*

LOL :D
