I've given two or three solutions...natives start having families again, tighten immigration rules and thirdly the state needs to stop trying to provide blanket healthcare.
All i've got to say about that is FFS, this country(goverment) really dissapoints/annoys me

Yes we know what needs to be done. Stop open door immigration and send back the Poles etc. What do WE - us here - do? What can we do? Not a lot.
As long as they are paying tax then it is fair enough, although the influx should be controlled rather than all at once, you can't really blame the NHS for the problem although to be honest I wouldn't mind if it was got rid of a long with benefits.

Thats *exactly* what is happening now..at the rate of over 1000 a day (BBC). Well, about 1000 leave, 1000 foreigners enter. By the way I disapprove of the British forming "colonies" in other countries, ie Saudi, Spain etc.
It is akin to ethnic cleansing. Britons leave, many in despair at what is happening to this country. Foreigners come and take their place. Displacing the native population. Incidentally there are more immigrants coming here than there are people leaving - even though emigration is also at record levels.

It not like the poles are actively kicking out the english people or killing them on mass.
We have massive, unprecedented levels of immigration. Immigrant births are rocketing. Ethnic cleansing doesn't mean killing people, it means displacing the native population and I challenge anyone to tell me that isn't happening in Britain today. Britain will be changed forever if we allow this to continue. It is already a very different country to a few generations ago.
Abit over the top to be honest.
Migrants coming into Britain, with the right mindset / skills can really bring this country forward. As said by a few earlier in the thread, should follow the Aussies and the way they tackle immigration.
Completely abolishing immigrations isn't the way forward.
I've already mentioned a couple of things we as individuals can do. You're right as in its difficult to bring about wide changes, but then if we start doing the small things ourselves (such as taking our custom elsewhere instead of the NHS where possible) it may kick-start the process.
We aren't 'allowed' to impose a strict points system for immigrants from within the EU... our EU 'masters' won't 'let' us.
Why shouldn't I use the NHS? I've paid into it for the last 20 years. Then immigrants come over, having paid in sod all, and leech off it for free. This must stop.
Well it wouldn't be there taking vast amounts of money if we made alternatives to it (such as the private clinic in the village I live in). Thus there would be nothing to leech from. Same to an extent with the benefits system.
heh, 60% of the doctors at my local hospital are totally foreign (born, and educated elsewhere)
Where do the doctors now come from?
All I know is that I increasingly feel like a foreigner in my own country.
The best doctors went off to work in private medical institutions...
