i have enough of gamming :( been gamming pretty much every night since q2 days and I just can't get into anything nowdays its a shame I thought my new 8800gt (@Xmas) would help rekindle my love of games fps mostly but it hasn't . Might sell my rig and get a nice macbook air.

oh thanks for the good times and advice on pc gamming threads

i find my gaming goes through slumps where i find it hard to get into anything, however theres always a period where itll pick up again
 
worst thing you can do. did it myself sold pc got fed up quit clan gaming serious gaming.now just getting back into it again and got the taste.once you a pc gamer you stay one.most important thing is to keep the fun aspect in gaming.
 
How about a 360, a lot of simple and great games to play.

I have not played a PC game online for 3 years but 360 I am on xbox live every night.
 
i find i tend to give up for 6 months of so until 4 or 5 good games have built up, then go and buy then, play them, complete them, then give up for another 6 months :)
 
I've gotta say, since getting my 360 I've used it for gaming a lot more than my PC.

It's just so easy - No installing, configuring, worrying if you hardware's up to the job. Just pop a disc in, fall onto the sofa and play.


But no matter what, a PC is the only way to play FPS. :cool:
 
Im in a bit of a strange place with gaming myself.

I have an xbox 360 with about 10 games, and i dont play em for long...

i bought UT3 a few days ago for pc... barely played it. (doubt ill play again tbh),

The Witcher... i loved...but for some reason i cant be assed to play more, I dont know what im missing :(
 
I have been in a simlar situation myself. I used to buy a new game go home install and play a bit get hooked and play till finished. These days im growing up a bit and my time is being spent elsewhere. It doesnt stop me enjoying games but i no longer go on marathon sessions.

I have 72 hours clocked up on oblivion at the moment but i have been playing 1 or 2 hours every few days and it has not spoilt my enjoyment at all.

Dont sell your pc im glad i diddnt sell mine. I do however spend more time trying to clock the nuts off it than gaming these days. But its swings and roundabouts.

Haven't used my 360 in weeks. I play on SMG on the Wii every day, and the BF2 on the PC when I want a decent session, I just don't get the point of the 360, its basically just a noisey, underpowered, hard to control PC.

Nah dont get me wrong, i like the 360, well i think i do!. :)

just nothing at all is holding my attention. Id kill for a basic but brilliant game, like an old zelda or something.

i want to feel the same feeling from gaming as i did when i was sat in the house one day playing ICO on the ps2 from beginning to end. Or when i first raced chocobos on ff7

gaming is in a wierd place right now
