Utd or Arsenal. Who would you pay to watch ?

I think this year we have been blessed with some absolutely fantastic football from the top two teams and it comes as no surprise to see Utd and Arsenal slugging it out for this years Premiership crown. Both probably there or thereabouts as the leading scorers and both probably have the two meanest defences.

Now in recent years we have won the league playing powerful attacking football and Arsenal have won it playing some fantastic one touch football also. It was universally accepted that Arsenal played the better football of the two teams but this season I am not too sure. I really don't think there is that much between the two teams to judge who is the better team to watch. United are really mixing some solid defending with some wonderful one touch football of their own. What I really do admire in both teams is how hard they work for each other which is often missed in the after match reports.

I think the way the vision and movement of Fabregas is right on par with the forward play of Ronaldo. Adebayor looks better with every single game as does every game Rooney & Tevez play together. So putting your club rivalries and bias aside who would you pay to watch this Saturday if you had could have a ticket to watch either ?

United, but then I was always going to say that. I'd probably say it if I was a neutral though.

I predict every Liverpool fan/cheets/sandy will say Arsenal in this thread though.

As a Liverpool fan it pains me to say it but Man Utd.
Previously it would have been Arsenal all the way but with the way Ronaldo's playing I couldn't see past Man Utd, and even though Adebayor is getting goals I can't stand him and wouldn't pay to watch a team with him in it.

United, but i'm biased. personally though i have always preferred the bomb down the wings and bombard the opposition goal to tight passing triangles. Arsenal play brilliant stuff as well so i'd pay to watch either but i do think we're slightly more balanced than them at the moment, we can do the tight passing, we can run at people, etc etc.

To be honest i'd pay to watch either team no worries.

The vision and movement of cesc is amazing to be honest, but it just dosent excite in the same way as ronaldo can change games for united, he is really setting the premership alight every time he takes the field.

I'd say Arsenal. The way the whole team is contantly moving about, always making themselves available for the man on the ball is a joy to watch. Then once they get near the box, any one of their attacking players is capable of coming up with something ingenious to get a teammate in a shooting position.

While United also play some lovely stuff, one thing I've noticed (as a neutral) is that they're rarely involved in close, exciting games. It's either a 4-0 thrashing or a dull, close game that they win/lose/draw.

Arsenal. United are fantastic to watch when Ronaldo plays but when he doesn't they don't provide a great deal of entertainment. Arsenal on the whole are far better to watch and their style of play doesn't change when their personal does.

Take Ronaldo out of the Man U team and it would be a complete different scenario.

Just because Man U have ripped it up of late, Arsenal are renowned for being the best footballing side. Unfortunately they can't produce the consistency Man U do.

Each to their own but I wouldn't agree Arsenal are Farbetter to watch

What was wrong with that?

What's right with it? The OP clearly says to put your bias/rivalry comments aside, so he comes out with a comment that he'd have to be paid to watch Arsenal? Why? Because they play ****? Or because they are a rival? It's bloody ridiculous the comments that appear on here.

The thread could have been a good discussion but it gets ruined by childish comments. Even your post made sense for once!

On given both of 'their days' at best performance I'd take Arsenal any day.
Their football is so fluid and magical almost :D
Don't get me wrong though United play alright sometimes ;) Especially watching Ronaldo!

Hmmmm, at the moment Arsenal as they attack as a team (our goals are much more spread out across the whole front 6). Man UTD appear to be quite the one man team at the moment, and take Ronaldo out of it and they're not as potent.
