Crysis engine will be shown on 360/PS3 at GDC

Crysis has very good gameplay - I will be very happy if the single player game comes to consoles, unaltered in terms of missions and layouts and such. People are quick to put it down as a tech demo, but Crysis actually pretty damn amazing. It is the closest thing to a Predator game with heart and finesse.

Naaaah, no way. Well.... hmmm.... I actually don't know :p the human sections were the scariest of any game I've ever experienced. But Crysis makes you feel more like the predators than that game did. It's all in what you can do, and the reactions of those you're hunting.

Crysis takes the mickey because it's badly coded, they did a bad enough job with PC and performance god knows how poor it will be optimized for consoles.

I have no faith in Crytek, complete and utter liars. "8800GTS will be able to max the game out at 12801024" <-- Something like that from Cevat Yerli, utter BS.
 
I don't think Crysis is badly coded I think it was produced purposely to show what high end PCs can do I think this may explain the bad sales. As not everyone is going to spend over £1000 on a PC just to run Crysis so people such as that wouldn't likely buy the game anyway. Crytek said them selves something like they wanted to prove that the PC is just has next gen has the latest consoles if not more so.

Anyone that thinks Crysis is just a tech demo should pull there head from their rear end. There was only one bad thing I could say about the game and that is it's too short. Apart from that is was outstanding in every other field.
 
I ran it almost on High quite happily with a X1950 XT. And its far more than a tech demo, its a damn good game. Probably my most enjoyable single player FPS experience this year.

Problem with the PC sales, is you have to factor in how easy it is to download, mount and play a cracked pirate version of Crysis, and also factor in the early leaked version.

That had to hurt them.
