Utd or Arsenal. Who would you pay to watch ?

I prefer Arsenal for their skill and passing ability, some of their creativity is breath taking. Man Utd get sort of boring I suppose and Ronaldo isn't so great vs a good defence.

Neither, as although I enjoy watching good football I only pay to watch football that I can get passionate about, Chelsea and England basically.
I've been to plenty of games involving good sides and good football in which my team wasn't playing but I can honestly say they've all been freebies and I don't enjoy them that much as I need to feel involved and shout and get frustrated and elated and that can only come from watching your side.
Both those sides are playing prettier football than my team at the moment, but that's not what going to a match is about for me so I just wouldn't do it :)

Interesting so many people like to watch Leeds.

Rarely watch any other football than Arsenal and get exicted, so Arsenal all the way.

I just wanna watch ronaldo, so united. He is so technically perfect it is stunning. More of a rugby fan than a footie fan but between the two got to be united. Fabregas is an awesome player but watching united is always a joy. Arsenal aren't as impressive imo.
Both are great sides and it is going to be quite a run into the end of the season. I can't wait to see who comes out on top.

Man Utd, unless Arsenal were guaranteed to suffer a humiliating defeat. I'm a Spurs fan.

On their day Arsenal play the best football in the world for me, only rivaled in recent times by Barcelona (also on their day).

But for you have to hand it to Man Utd over the last couple of years. The results are very consistent and the football is good as well, unlike say Chelsea who get consistent results but are a nightmare to watch at times.

If we're talking about passion though, there's nothing like watching Barnsley. The 2 Play Off finals I've been to were just awesome (even though we lost one).

On the other hand I must admit I've been brought up with a soft spot for Arsenal, to the extent I hope they win everything they can this year.

United, but then I was always going to say that. I'd probably say it if I was a neutral though.

I predict every Liverpool fan/cheets/sandy will say Arsenal in this thread though.

Liverpool fan here...

Man U.

i have to say Arsenal.

Manu are only really excitable on the counter attacks, when ronaldo/roni/tevez are speed down. but arsenl are more exciting to watch coming up from the back all the way to the opposition goal. counter attacking or not, arsenal are very very exciting

I'd disagree with that. If you're talking about not scoring, let us not forget, he's only a winger. He's playing upfront twice this season (once being yesterday).

We come from the back too, just quicker. A lot of the time we'll knock 10, 15, 20 passes in a move too just as well as Arsenal.

I don't think Ronaldo is a "winger", a winger has been known to purely stay on the right or left and run up and down the line all match, whereas Ronaldo strays all over the pitch. If you look at his goals he hardly scored any goals where the winger position should be.
Ferguson has given him the freedom to do what he wants.

Ronaldo is always on the wing and always gets back on the wing after any move. Ronaldo will only move around during a move. He's most certainly a winger.

ronaldo is a winger.

It would have to be a game against another top side in a big game for me to want to pay to see Utd or Arsenal, i'll quite happily watch either on TV though.

If i want to go to a live game, its gotta be lower league football, standing on the terraces at an away game backing the mighty MK Dons :-)
