Whats your Quarterly/Monthly Leccy Bill?

Unless I'm confused. £13 a month for electric? That sounds too good to be true!

That's what I thought. I think they may have been going off their predicted quarter, they only came round to check it for the first time yesterday so we may be in for a bit of a shock when the next bill comes :p

325 €'s (225 quid) a month, but that includes hot water ( no not for heating, just normall hot water for shower etc...), combined bill.

Blame it on the 3 or 4 pc's being on at least 10 hours a day and 3 tv's running pretty much all day.

Houshold with 3 people, me, dad and mum :p.
Dad payed 130€/month for the last about 3 years, but now ( months ago) he had to pay an additional 2500€ when they checked our meter :p. Ouch :(.

Maybe! :/ Especially for 4 people.

Unless you're all out of the house 14 hours a day, and don't wash or use heating :D

£75/month for combined Gas/Electric for a 3 bed semi (student) house with at least 1 PC on 24/7, though this may be a bit off as that's calculated from the first 2 months of us being here.

Just gone up to £36/month for electricity and £44/month for gas, for a large two bedroom terraced house. However, I'm getting a lot of insulation work done next week (cavity wall filling and wool insulation for the lofts [I have 3 lofts]) and I'm hoping that will reduce the gas bill a lot.

The electricity seems pretty harsh, but I think it's my own fault. On far too many occasions, I have left an electric heater (1.2KW) on in the bathroom for hours and hours, having forgotten it.

I'm shocked that people pay so little for their electricity.

1 bed flat.
1 person.
£55/month (£165/quarter)

What the hell do you have running?

PC: 24/7.
TV/Projector: not more than 1 running at any one time.
Heating: supplied by electric fan heater and gas central heating.
Water: heated by gas.
Washing machine: run once/fortnight.

This isnt making any sense to me. I even changed to the cheapest electric supplier, last year.

Your PC can't be more than ~£12 of that, although it is a good chunk. I'm guessing the fan heating is the problem...

Roughly £300-£400 month on gas/electricity.

Reason: Several PCs running 24/7 + Plasma TVs + 5000 sq ft of house to heat :o

£ 1.50 last bill !

for three months electric did ring them up to inform them meter was hardly moving, wheel goes round at normal speed, they are fitting a new meter next week
lady on the phone said they never get calls about paying too little but i was worried about getting a large bill when it got sorted.

Mine is about £67 a qtr. Two bedroom flat me and the boyf usually. Don't have gas.

I overpaid last year and got a nice cheque back from them for £169...since then I have lowered my monthly DD's but am hoping I will get some back still ;)
