i recently bought a sandisk cruzer micro but it didn't work in vista 64 (i tried removing the junk that came with it) so i gave it to my sister. Anyone know of a flash drive that will DEFINITELY work in vista 64? :)

I think you might just have been really unlucky. I have Vista 64 Premium and I have used in the region of 30 different memory sticks from a whole range of manufacturers with no difficulty at all. I mainly use Sandisc or PNY flash discs size ranges from 64Mb to 4GB!

Try using it on another PC first, put a couple of basic word docs on it and see if you can read them.

I think that comes with the proper data partitioned off and then a small partition with U3 stuff on it. Presumably when you say you tried removing the junk you actually deleted the partitions and created a new one spanning the who space?
