Nationwide - Anyone work there?

I'm trying to get a job in one of the local Nationwide companies in Swindon and have sent off the application etc, and it's been two weeks today and have not as yet gotten a reply from them.

I was just wondering to the people that do work there, how long (if you can remember!) did you wait for a reply from them and how long was the recruitment process? I realise that this will probably vary quite a bit but I just wanted to know a bit more about it if possible and to see if there is a happy medium of recruitment process timing :p

Hi! I don't work there but my housemate and his GF does. The best way to get in there is to temp unfortunately. When my housemates Gf applied it took a few weeks if i remember right and she ended up getting a job through an agency.

Is it in the warehouse or the HQ?:)
 
Me thinks it's in the HQ :) But they want full time permenant at the moment I think (?)
I hope I hear from next week then as it's already been 2! And I've only applied to be a CSA =/ Thankyou though :)

Do you know if the branch you want to work for is looking for staff? I know when i applied to be a CSA they were looking for one and so it was easy peasy.
 
Ah kk. The HQ is the better place to work! If you dont hear anything by the end of monday just give em a call and ask them what the status of the application is. It also shows that your keen. Good luck!!:)
