Little sister had her 2004 Scooby WRX stolen a few months back, I posted about it here.

She's now got the insurance settlement through and has just sent me a text saying they ( her and fiance ) have just bought a Vaux Corsa VXR, in Arden Blue.

Dont know many details yet but its got just over 1200 miles on the clock and one previous owner who for some reason, changed it for a different car after buying it.

Anyone here got a wee Corsa VXR?.

The Corsa VXR is imho one of the most fun small cars out there even compared to the Clio (the new clio cup wins hands down though)..

Anyway only problems we have seen with them have been that they eat front tires if ure heavy footed as the traction is not the best and the drive can be very sketchy over bumpier roads compared to its competitors.

But for the price u can get a good second hand one at now, im sure she will find it fun and easier than the scooby.. obviously cheaper to run as well.

Well, they had decided to go for something slightly less extreme and "obvious" to car teaf leafs.

However, I'm thinking the little VXR will be still a bit of a target?.

Think they were taking into consideration running costs too. The VXR pumps out a fair amount of power but still manages to return a pretty good mpg as far as I'm aware?.

To be honest, its their choice, not spoken to them since they went for it, only learned of it tonight and looking forward to seeing the car.

Means our wee second car/puddle jumper Punto can be returned to us for the Missus to go to work in now as we gave them it on loan after the WRX got pinched.

great little cars, just wish they did one with a more subtle bodykit as all the juts and cut outs make it look a little too odd for my liking.

They may look a bit chav but are serious fun to drive at 90%. Me and Oulton Park had a good time with one.

People don't half keep prejudices over cars for a long time. The new corsa is supposedly miles miles miles better than the previous corsa and this new VXR looks fantastic imo.

The corsa vxr was one of the funnest cars on my vxr trackday.

Found it the easiest to drive smooth laps and had plenty of power. Probably did my fastest lap in these... despite being one of the lower powered cars there. The btcc boys loved them too :D
