The OcUK FIFA08 League (360)

I'll pick a team when I get my xbox back (should be next couple of days) but definately count me in. :)
 
I hate this game. How the hell do you score?

My build up play and defense is usually OK but I just can't score.

I now have one less pad.
 
2-0 to me against moaning Tom.

You could be a good player but you make some rash decisions and being a fouling **** doesn't help. Stop blaming the game and look at your own play! You nearly scored a screamer at the start with Raul, it's all about making space and choosing the correct pass. Until you work them out you won't score!

I played pretty badly, you were good in defence and I kept being a cheeky **** trying to lob your keeper then I hit the bar and missed an open goal.

That's what frustrates me.

I know I do alright everywhere else except the final third.

I slide tackle a lot because I find it the most effective way to stop people going past me. I do the same on Pro Evo as well and I'm usually quite good at timing them.

I've played 4 games I think so far, drawn two 1-1 and 0-0 and lost two 1-0 and 2-0.

I just can't score :(

That bicycle-kick with Raul would have been a beauty tho.
 
Beat philh99 1-0, luckiest win ever after his keeper threw the ball out to me :(

Sorry buddy. Was heading to a 0-0 for sure, although i messed up some pretty good chances.
 
Got beat 3-0 by Dannyboy. Except from about a 15 spell after half time I was garbage and it was probably an extremely routine win for him. Although you did score two dirty cut back goals :p
 
I'm in.

Will be playing as Man United even though it pains me to do so as a Liverpool fan but I prefer there play down the center to Liverpools strength on the wing.
 
My defeat against dannyboy really annoyed me as I should have stuck my chances away. When you see MOM go to a keeper you have to be unhappy. Should be on later for some games, going to warm up with FM for now.

Don't worry about west ham we'll have another go at this after we finish.
