Car on Day Out (Pics)

The reason i never posted in this forum was that i took the photos with my new camera i got and i wanted to take photos of something good thats why i took them of the car i have more than the few i posted on here, i posted them in the photography forum to get some comments of my photo taking ability.

Now recently i have started to browse the Motors forum, and i have seen various cars and bikes, so i thought i would post these pics, i don't see what i have done wrong i have just posted some pics that i have taken.

Of course not, but why 4 months down the line think "oh, I'll just post these and make out that I've just taken them"

Why not?

I've done it numerous times, i've been scouring my rawshooter library and suddenly spotted something and thought 'ah, xxxxxx might appreciate that' and posted it up somewhere.

I don't see what is so infeasible about him fancying sharing some pictures of his dads car (which I don't think he's implied is his posts unless you read stuff with that slant on it already) a few months after taking them and having previously posted others from the same set in photography.

I wonder how many people are currently scouring porsche forums looking for the photos from a date before October 24th.

edit - and i must be being blind but i can't see where he claims he 'just' took them.

You can end all this 'doubting' by telling us the location you took the 993 to, as in the location of that water tower.

Not exactly a hard question is it?

His dad, he said that.

Easiest get out of jail free card I guess. Don't know why he'd apologise for causing swirlmarks on his Dads car - he's said he doesnt seem often. How did he insure it to take it out for a drive? Dayinsure wont touch it at 22 and adding himself to his Dads policy would cost a fortune - not really a likely situation if he rarely drives it.

We'll never really know what the situation is, but the OP has only himself to blame becuase the implications that it was his car were very strong throughout until it was clear this wasnt the case.

That he assumes he meant cleaning. I read it as apologising for his photographic ability (or small lack thereof) in causing them to show up in the pictures.

'I see swirlmarks'

"Not much I could do about that"

I'd disagree on the 'strong implications'. Nothing he said really strongly implies one way or the other imo.

A mint low mileage 10 year old 911 isn't usually found as a company car.

Still I've reached the point of not caring now so I'll go back to saying the car looks awesome.
