Vista SP1 released tomorrow?

When tomorrow will it be released? Wonder if it will be an improvement over this SP1 I have atm thats not the official one, beta or w/e its called.

Slipstreaming is a process where you apply service packs onto the files, creating a install disc with SP already applied upon a fresh install.

I've done the same to my original Windows disc, now have a SP2 install disc. Dead easy to do.

Normally you just copy the contents of your install media onto your hard drive, and run the service pack install from the command line with a switch to apply it to the folder you just copied the media to, then burn that lot back to a DVD with the boot image copied off the original disc.

Edit: Often programs like nLite / vLite will do it as well, which is easier.

it can't be done with vista/vlite. maybe when the final release of the SP goes public, someone will find a way? but at this moment in time, there is no method.......

Yeah I just read that. The discs will be updated to include the service pack, and will be available in stores, on MSDN and to volume license customers, but there's no way for the end user to roll their own SP1 disc.
