Lies. He's based purely on the legendary Basil, the great mouse detective. Now he was real.

.................A new study has shown that a whopping 25% of people in Britain believe Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill was a myth, while the majority of those questioned in the poll believed Sherlock Holmes to be real.
Another large amount of people believe Indian leader Mahatma Ghandi, one of Britain's greatest novelists Charles Dickens and the Duke of Wellington, who beat Napoleon at Waterloo, were also made up.
3,000 people took part in the poll.
The difference is we did it for a laugh.
my god, I really do worry about this country, I wonder how many of those 23% were born in the UK?

it said 25% of people in britain. it is saying there was 3000 people in the pole.
add another 3000 people and the pole would have said 50% of people in britain. and another 3000 and they would have said 75% of people in britain, add another 3000 and it would say 100% of people in britain.....

Naa, they aren't allowed to ask that question as it may offend someone who isn't BritishI wonder how they managed to only poll Britons too in our multicultural society, unless the first question was 'Are you British, if so can you answer these questions please' unlikely really![]()
