What are the main differences between these and how come they are only available with O2 and 3 is there a reason for this ??
No idea I'm afraid. I don't blame you for avoiding Voda. For what it's worth I've got the vanilla N95 on Three and I'm very happy with it (my friend with the 8GB is equally happy, especially since he gets to lord it over me).
Refuse to go with voda i'm afraid. Any reason why orange don't have it ?
They are required to by law - they can't give you a free phone up front and charge you per month for it alongside a contract (as it was explained to me by a friend who was working Three retail). If it's any consolation, you can pick up £50 or so Quidco and £30 if you get someone already on Three to refer you.
Also anyone got this phone on vodaphone does there software still cripple it ??
So are you saying you have to take the £15 video thingy or not![]()
I have it. The software is a little dated, being v11 when they now have v15 and is v20 out?
Runs fine tbh, it doesn't crash (too much - I think DivX player was causing my crashing on music player as it hasn't done so since the uninstall this evening). I also got rid of all the demo games and unwanted stuff.
Aside from sat-nav software (Garmin, not Nokia Maps) and aforementioned music player, I've only had one crash in the 2 weeks I've owned it using the phone normally i.e. everyday use.
I absolutely love the phone.
Can you use your ownmp3's for ringtones etc
Ok bought one !!! Is there any need to charge the battery up for 16 hours like you used to ???
No, about 2 hours is a full charge.
the new batteries dont need no "extra" charge and dont need to be used til the very end before recharging for best lifeanyone else confirm this ?
Guy in shop said 16 hours but I was under the belief that this wasn't needed with new li on batteries
