Are these REALLY this cheap now?

i noticed this the other day, but wasnt willgill's not THAT far north of 10k when he got it a few years ago?

The catch is Mr Fox, go do an insurance quote ;)

The catch is that its a very dated looking japanese car with an even worse interior which now has an awful awful image :(

Amazing performance for the money though. Unbeatable.

yeah, endsleigh aren't that great, and my N19 is hardly the best postcode to have :p
i got £4800 at a relative's address outside nottingham :(

I'd agree totally with that.

Early Scooby's are now the proviso around here and many other parts of "chavs" who can just about afford them to wrap around the nearest lamp post.

Still a nice car, and a rather nice special edition, a pity the said chavs have pretty much ruined the image of it now ( the early Scooby's ).

Post "bug-eyes" appear to be managing to hold their money reasonably well after a bit of a fall in value.

The less said about the new shape Impreza WRX/Turbo.....the better.....:o

drool. Whats the catch? Other than the fact the interior is so nasty even a Nissan Micra is nicer to sit inside obviously.

Insurance / image

Both relate to the same thing. That shape subary now being 5 generations old is very common. Lots and lots of them being driven by chavs and wrapped round lamp posts.. This pushes the insurance up, and because every man and his chav girlfriend is driving old shape subarus, its lost its novelty factor

consequently demand has dropped, and so has the price

Plus that car is 90,000 miles. The Cherished weekend toy ones with 40k miles are the ones that demand a high price. :)

Actually, just thinking, that shape of Subaru, or any subaru for that matter, features very rarely around roads in NI. Must be very different with you guys across the water but I don't think they've all that bad an image. Probably are seriously dated inside but I have no idea having never been in one, but that is a sick amount of bhp for the money.

Am I the only one who does not think that P1 is particularly cheap?

Just out of curiosity, I got myself a quote....

£579 FC from e-sure. :)

About £200 more than I was quoted for an e39 M5!
