169.38 Forceware drivers out

:D

I meant are these just an update for Pirates Of The Burning Sea, like the 169.28's were only for UT3. :p

Well every up to date set i have tried so far in Vista 64 bit, the digital vibrance was broke, it ain't in these and the AA works in the game profiles. So I'm pleased with this set, no more 100% fan with the 171.16 set.

Well these could be a new Beta set from Nvidia after all, well by the sounds of this from the Pirates front page :-

As reported in this thread, Flying Lab Software has been awaiting the release of the latest Nvidia drivers to solve the flashing ocean texture issue found with 8xxx cards.

We’re happy to report that the latest drivers have been released, and we’ve uploaded them to our site just for you!

The list includes English and International video drivers for Vista and XP, in both 32 and 64 bit.

Plus these drivers are dated the 30/01/08, so are the latest, as the .32's were dated the 9th, so cheers for the heads up, gona give em a try. :)

I only put the Quadro 169.61's on yesterday.:p

Also Digital Vibrance supposedly works in these for Vista 64.

reeet best get these on, I'm loosing track all these drivers going bout all over the place

UH OH transfer rate is a dog!

Runs as good as it does on the .32's, which is about 1-2 frames faster than it did on the .17 beta's for me. :)

Nice drivers these, as good as the .32's and the Quadro .61's, and are also newer, .32's were dated the 09/01, these are dated 30/01.

Do these resolve the per-game profile issue ?

Also, anyone tried latest NGO and Omega drivers ?

Yes they work fine, as did the 32's.

Latest NGO and Omega drivers are based on the 25's and offered no real improvement over the Nvidia 25's imo. The 32's are the best for me, though I've not fully tested these new 38's yet!

What the heck are Nvidia playing at?. It's decent but it seems a lot of their drivers aren't the greatest. This is what I miss about ATI the most.

I hope these are gonna be decent but from reports from you all it seems ok so far.
