Did a search so hopefully this hasn't already been posted :p

Search this auction on ebay and have a read, did make me chuckle. There are a few questions they've been asked at the bottom of the page too.

:D

eBay is cack, it really is. I've yet to get my fingers burned though. With the way things are going, I'm sure I'll come a cropper soon.

Maybe I should quit whilst I'm ahead. Maybe we all should, and take our business elsewhere.

I think its a good oppertunity for competition right now. people arent going to sell their stuff there as a result and need somewhere else to go.

I could make an auction site....

MUGGING

If you are a traditionalist like me you may prefer a good old mugging. Simply offer to meet me on some dodgy housing estate somewhere and have a load of you mates hiding behind a hedge with a few iron bars. Again, offer to pay me over the odds as there is nothing better than using a sellers greed to bait them into a scam. I would be grateful if you could avoid killing me as this will cause bad publicity for ebay which would be terrible.

thats the winner for me

haha.. its funny

however, i'm under the impression he really does have the item for sale, and although he's advertising it on ebay, he expects payment/purchase to be outside of ebay. - and in the hope someone reports the item, he'll also be refunded seller fees.

is this correct?

Funny - mildly.
Amount of truth in any of the points he attempts to make - hardly any.

I would pick each of his "funny" points apart but I really can't be bothered.
Suffice to say there is really very little truth in a lot of what he has to say.
