Few plans for a electroic Game (need your help)

There is a reason behind me asking this although thats under wraps at the moment.

I assume you all know what game i am trying to describe i just dont know what it is called so here goes.

16 Buttons with Lights behind.
Randomly light up
you hit the button, it goes out and another one lights up.

Simple really.

I am finding it hard to find the buttons that we need. all i seem to find are Fruit Machine buttons. i need something the size of 4 of those stuck together. any ideas??

also i need to find a site or somewhere/someone i can get some lorry horns from.

again any ideas??

i know what you are on about but have no idea where to get the buttons. why not try ebay for the horns, and perhaps an electronics shop for the buttons?

not massive. but if you think of 4 fruity buttons together and then cut a circle out of those.

when i say 4 buttons i mean 2x2 not 4x4

kinda like that.

but i mean, when the light comes out you bash it as soon as you hit it, it goes out and another lights up. rinse and repeat for 60 seconds.

thats the baby, but im not trying to break no records. lol or even build something that has never been built. its a bit of fun for the summer

need to with stand drunken playing. lol. and weather proof would be ideal.

its something we are planning for an event which some people on here are attending this summer

sounds daft... but have you considered adapting some battery powered push lights , seem about the right size.. something like this ?

I did something really similar once myself.

only thing with them is once you hit it it stays on

I'd say by the dimensions they are metric and more than likely cm.

How are you doing the electronics of the game?, if its with a microcontroller or anything like that, i'd be easy enough to use a latching switch and just detect when it changes state, if not, then you could always try and retro-fit a different switch into it.
