Hello. I was wondering if I could get some advice from you guys.

I currently have:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (Akasa AK-873)
Intel Bad Axe 2 D975XBX2
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 512MB
Corsair Dominator 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz RAM
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music 7.1 surround sound card
Enermax Galaxy 1000W PSU
1x Western Digital Raptor 150GB
1x Samsung Spinpoint 500GB
Antec 900 (With the extra fans)

LG Flatron 22” monitor
Creative T7900 7.1 surround sound

I really like the Antec 900, but it is starting to annoy me how small it is. This has brought me to one of two products.

First, sticking with the brilliant Antec I have found the P190. It seems AMAZING to me. Everything I need and more. My only real worry about it is the dual power supply layout.

-Do I really need two – and if you say yes, I already have one PSU with 5/6 of the power of this one.
-It takes up two power plugs (and I am already pushed for space)
-I can’t buy it without the power supplies.
-If I do go ahead, take out their power supplies and put mine in, I will have a big gaping hole where one of them would have been.

Second, a new contender. Lian Li caught my attention with their beastly PC-P80. Everything I was looking for – lots of fans, built in dust filters etc. But it has no side ventilation.

Basically, I need help choosing between the two on the criteria of:
-Cooling (don’t care about noise)
-Price

And if I could find a P190 model without the power supplies, I would buy it without further thought.

Also, was wondering why OcUK don't stock the PC-P80 yet.

I love the P190

I just bought the P190 a few weeks ago, I have to say I love it, granted the only down side is the power supplies, as I have only use Enermax in the past and am not use of the Antec brand, but having said all that the system is stable, and most import nice and cool.
There are LOTS of cables and 4 PCIE ones on the 650 watt power supply, and this thing is HEAVEY very heavy so not to be moved around very often, the best thing is the way you can route the cables at the back of the motherboard giving a very nice airflow.
Oh and I did read somewhere that it was noisy, well I couldn’t’ say that!
All in all a good buy, and remember you get two power supplies included, try and buy them separately and the case comes in quite cheap!
:D

Thanks for the replies.

What Enermax PSU do you have post #2?

I am worried my Galaxy 1000W may not fit.

And the PSUs that come with it are REALLY putting me off.

If anyone were to be selling a P190 second hand minus the PSUs I'd snap it up straight away, but I can't even find that.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (Akasa AK-873)

I assume you mean this cooler?

If so then you should change it to a better one if temps are your main concern, you don't need loads of fans.

Personally I would get the Lian Li out of the two, although I don't particularly like the styling of this one. The A16 would be better if you ask me, cheaper too.

I did get the fans mixed up :S

I'm not that worried about CPU heat very much, because I plan on getting a Q9550 on release.

Please don't show me any more cases.

I already have a hard time choosing between 2, more would make it even more difficult.

Does anyone know of ANYWHERE you can get a P190 without the two power supplies?

And do they provide a new shield for a single PSU system?

I would go with the Lian Li PC-P80 Case just gives me the WoW factor hehe :D

Antec Twelve Hundred Coming Soon
For all of those who love the Nine Hundred but need more space!

Because they haven't released it here yet...there is no UK stock available until Late Feb/Early March

I found a few UK sites stocking it.

Looking at the Antec 1200, I probably would have went for it. But I already ordered the P190 from OCUK and it arrives today.
