This came out today so I picked it up from a supermarket having watched some vids on Gametrailers and read some positive reviews about the controls - some say it surpasses Metroid III, which will be amazing. 32 online MP too. The other half is out tomorrow night, so this will be getting a good going over. :D

Anyone else pick it up? Did I mention 32 online MP?! :p
 
I have been playing it online for over a month now as i ot the US version. Onine is great, but the single player isnt as goodas Heros 1 was.. well not in a way.

Plus they dropped all the split screen in favour of online which is nice but should have been an addition not instead of.
 
Played it this evening, couldn't get on too well with the campaign mode, but then again I've not really enjoyed any FPS other than on the PC (controls don't feel right). But the arcade mode is great, back to basics fun shooting.
 
Mixed reviews, not sure whether to get it. I've stopped trusting most sources and prefer user opinions, what do you think of it?

Why, what's up with it?

Quite impressed so far with the single player campaign. Graphics are clear and sharp, although not as good as Metroid or Mario. Controls really well, although I've not found it as good as Metroid - but I've yet to really configure the bounding box etc.

Dam I never thought Metroid looked that good... I thought it looked pretty bad actually but LOVED the controls and gameplay!

So in all honestly if it looks worse than Metroid then I am expecting it to look pretty dogger :p oh well I might now be pleasantly surprised when I get round to playing it :D

I agree, it's a very clear, crisp, colourful and well designed game. I think it's actually better looking than Mario Galaxy. I think MoH doesn't look as good as WWII games tend to be a combination of grey, green and brown!
 
Metroid is the best looking game on Wii .. with MArio very close behind but that in terms of technical achievement not artistic style in which case i think mario is nicer.

MOH online i thought was quite fun.. best online i have played on the wii .

I thought strikers was better, but I think that's down to the game rather than online specific features.

Smash bros brawl is easily the best looking Wii game.

I guess the reason I was so disappointed with Metroid Prime graphically was that I have played PS2 games that rival it e.g. final fantasy, MGS3, god of war and if we are talking colour ect then even Jak 3! :D

Maybe I should replay MP3 on a smaller crt to give a fairer comparison to the PS2 games but still like I said gameplay wise and the controls ect Metroid ROCKS! :)

Additionally in comparison to all the other tripe Wii games I do agree it stands out graphically!
 
I played MP3 on a 32" HD CRT - it looks fabulous. To be fair to MoH, once you get onto the 3rd or so mission, the City, it's much better graphically than I first thought. It's certainly much nicer than a lot of Wii offerings and a million times better than CoD3.
 
I think it is funny we are even comparing it to ps2 games :p

Hopefully the Wii can be optimized to pull off some real treats... 99% of the Wii games look terrible and that has nothing to do with the Wii's hardware but lazy devs
 
This is the main reason i have not bought a medal of honor hame since Allied assault, the last good game of the series.

I think some incredible things have been done with the PS2 hardware.
