Then you've met an unrepresentetive sample, but then if youd said the same about most countrys id say the same. Theres nowhere that EVERYONE is any of the stereotypes said in this thread, and america in particular varies massively from state to state.
 
What's with the Americanophobia going around? Some people here are really hellbent on portraying the American people as a bunch of dumb uncultured savages who like killing for sport. Lovely casual racism.

Your attitude is quite disgusting really. Most American people are nice, normal people. And everyday you can see the stupidity of British people so does that make all of us stupid and annoying?
 
Oddly enough they control populations of alligators over there, larger ones are typically more aggressive and far more dangerous to humans - hence I see no problem in killing them.

Good on them, get a few boots out of that one.

There are stupid American people, just as there are stupid English people. We have rednecks and you have chavs. I've lived in both countries - I'm English and my wife is American, so I am in a position to comment....unlike you. Your ignorance is quite embarrassing actually, and somewhat ironic...
 
Aww thats a shame they killed it. <3 crocs and alligators. 23 foot is quite special for one afaik it must have been an old specimen.

This has been going on for months,as soon as any topic thats american related pops up you have members instantly slagging them off.
 
my teacher moved out to America. He says they are nice people, much like English people, but a lot of them do lack a general intelligence! He is working in a bar for a year before he can become a teacher, and he says he gets comments like "im amazed at how good your English is coming along" and apparently a man was telling a joke, a woman stops him and says "you cant tell this in front of the barman, its too rude", to which the man replied, "don't worry, hes from another country and won't understand our rude words!"

Obviously, a bar is hardly the best way to meet the intelligent ones ;)

considering the depth of a deers upper back to belly must only be 2ft or so, using that as a scale, it doesnt look 23ft long
 
Worst thread hijack I have seen in a while.
It's ridiculous for people in this forum to have a stab at Americans in general and proves that every country has its idiots.
 
Unfortunately many British people still act as we still have this huge empire that knows better than the rest of the world.

Or they believe that the George Bush foreign policy represents the majority of Americans beliefs.
