Name any games u recommend for ps3

lo,

Im properly getting on all your nerves keep posting about ps3's, I apologies but I 'm trying to research before blowing my "wod" of cash.

Could anyone recommend games that you have played, doesn't matter the genre. I played a lot of FPS on my PC and got bored. So, would like to go back to some classic console games. (Fighting, racing, anything else?)

Having said that I will be picking up Resistance: Fall of Man pre-owned from somewhere.

Im mainly buying it as a blu-ray player mate. so not really interested if the xbox has 10000000000000000000000000000000 games. If thats what ** getting at. If your not I apologies

If I was buying a new console today (and before I say this I have a 360 and not a ps3 and Ive made sweet , sweet love to my 360) I would buy a ps3.

Its a lot, LOT more value for money!!

Plus theres some pretty good exclusives coming out (3 that I know of lol...) MGS4, FF13 and GT5

I only hope MSG4 comes out in summer hols or all chance of me passing my degree will fail.

I finished my degree in 2004 and at that tine there was this TV show on BBc news/SKy News called Gulf War 2. I spent a whole day watching Iraqi's try to pull down Saddam's Statu (spelling) with a shoe string. Made me laugh.......

Best bet is dont buy the game until after xmas.

Assissins Creed
DMC 4
Uncharted

for £350 (its a bundle deal im looking at).

I could then pick up R: FOM & Ninja Gaiden/Burnout Paradise second hand in March/April.

Ratchet and Clank was way more enjoyable than Assassin's Creed. Its a fantastic game.

I liked AC though, not a bad game imo

Ther was mention that IBM have made a 45nm cell core now for the ps3 in pcgamer.

wonder when they'll put it in, they say they have not changed anything except the size to make sure it works with the consoles as thats what the shrink was for.

Which set of games is better:

Resistance
Burnout Paradise
Also comes with free HDMI cable

Both are same price. I keep going round in circles. My only concern is that Im losing out on £20 worth of game with Resistance as I could get a second game for like £20 prob less. Thats y im leaning towards :

Assissins Creed
DMC 4
Uncharted

but i want burnout but cant afford £400 smackers this month.

Bunout Paradise is an amazing game (I have played 60ish hours so far!!) And Resistance is very good too.

It's tricky as I would say out of your choices Uncharted, Burnout, DMC4, R:FOM are all must owns out of those, with Assassins Creed as the stinker, to me.

Depends what type of games you like really, I played all of them (Assassins Creed was rented and R:FOM I have sold now), and that is what I think.

Burnout can be had for £30 imported if you chose the other bundle.

Think im gonna run into town tommorrow and see if I can get DMC4 swapped for Burnout & buy resistance second hand. Assassins Creed & uncharted look like games that will last a good while.
