Who's been out cleaning today?

i washed the interior of the mk2 and the mk3.

i then washed the mk3 as it needed to be repolished after my attempts a couple weeks back went badly wrong.

i used autoglym ultra deep shine again... i hate that product. hard to get off and even harder to get a consistent finish without applying tons of pressure (bad).

i finished it off with turtle wax platinum protective extra gloss.... an amazing product which is easy on and off and gives protection that lasts for ages

in future ill stick with super resin polish, for sure

Nope despite the nice weather my car remains mucky. I was going to do it on Monday as I'm off work but the gf isn't. Unfortunately Monday will now be taken up painting the 3rd bedroom (aka the pc/xbox room :p )

On my way to the car wash to get the 6 months worth of crap off it and I get back from getting a buttie to find this

Bitch want's to stay dirty

Nice clean cars you lot! That bmw is growing on me fox! :) . I'll take some pictures tomorrow in the day light, my neighbors think i'm weird taking pictures of my car so I do it in the dark :D .

Ben.

did the g/f car then she went to the coast to see her parents and came back with three nice blobs of bird goo on the roof, another job for tomorrow then

I had super resin polished it last weekend, so sealed with perfectionist then wax and did tyres etc with rubber and vinyl care.

Stops you getting wax into the crevices between panels and weatherstrips etc.

Which is a huge nuisance, I've still got last years Autoglym Super Resin Polish under my spoiler :p

Perhaps slow down with the buffage when getting near the black stuff?

Edit: Though it does amaze me when getting polish on black trim how long it stays on for, does it have the same effect on the paintwork? or is it simply a stain?
