Playing with them, funnily enough they dont seem to like that. My room temperature is probably colder than most because I like it that way. 17-18 degrees at all times. Its dust free, its well ventilated as this old picture shows.



Why the hell would it be anything I'm doing when MS have already admitted they can't make hardware to save their arse.

No it's not an elite Andy, a premium that last went back about a year ago.

In theory the returned console should be 'fixed'. My mater recently returned his and they just sent him one of the newer xbox's anyway. Brand new. Plus mine both have the complete 3 year extended warranty anyway.
 
You know you have faith in the product when you even keep the returns boxes they send it back in :)

Matey on the call center tried to make me go through their testing procedure.

"Look mate I've sent you back 5 of these, I've run your little tests. I've swapped out the power supply, cables and hard drive, it's dead"

i hope you dont mind, but i thought id have a go and see what i come up with. i played around with some HDR. what do you think? i think i may have overdone it a bit??
