Off to Madrid next Tuesday with some mates to watch Bolton play Atletico Madrid in UEFA cup and just looked over the booking he made for us all back in December and noticed it said.........

1 Hold bag(s) per flight between all passengers combined
The 4 passenger(s) in this booking may check in a combined total of 1 hold bag(s) for each flight on this booking. The 20kg hold bag weight allowance (per passenger) does not increase with the addition of further hold bags.

Now does this mean we can only check 1 bag in between all 4 of us, and only take our 1 piece of hand luggage? Be pretty annoyed if so lol as he's buggered it right up.

Yep he's only paid for 1 Hold Bag. Easyjet charge more iirc for hold baggage to be booked in. Looks like he's only added in 1.

From what I recall, the total hold bags would default to the number of passengers; i.e. 4 in this occasion. He would have to change it to one (to reduce costs presumably) himself. So he's only booked 1 hold baggage for all of you! Unless it's changed in the last 3 weeks.

Ryanair do the same. They charge per bag in the hold (£10 irc).

I have only booked one bag between us for our trip to Germany,

Cheaper than flying BA though! :)

Just rang him, said they did same when they went Munich, just put all toiletries in one bag and shizzle, and put clothes in hand luggage.
At least there was some method to his madness.

Sounds like he has only done one bag for all 4 of you.
I'm flying with easyjet on saturday, says the same thing (flying on my own so its not a problem).

Just remember... If the plane is on a giant conveyor belt, it will still take off, so don't worry...
