Who owns a pair of these?

Why do they make you laugh? I see nothing funny about them, unless you're referring to the exact ones pictured, and other wellingtons designed for children?
 
the word 'welly' 'wellies' and 'wellingtons' does make me chuckle abit! hehe

childhood memories me thinks.being at school and seeing them for first time.surely some people find other objects funny that to others are not.maybe i need a couch doctor.
 
I think maybe you should have payed more attention to the teacher rather than what other children had on their feet. ;)

Maybe that is just me though.

I have a pair of battle hardened ones
I wouldn't even think about setting foot on my allotment without my Wellies!!

Also at last years Womad festival they quite litterally kept me alive :eek:

Yeah I think i might have had some when i was a lad, I vaguely remember also waking up when i was at uni, wearing a wellington and one of my trainers and not really knowing why.
 
I just bought some new wellies at the weekend.

Sick of having wet feet when I've been working in the garden.

Because I bought them in Surrey they are green and have a buckle on the side.

I have owned wellies in the past, as a child. Don't any more.

They were black. They had no pattern.
