I have a picture which is 2272 x 1704 pixels @ 72DPI.

I would like to mount it onto canvas as big as possible retaining the best quality over size.

1) Has anyone used an online company that offers canvas prints?
2) What's the largest size I can blow up the image without any pixelation/distortion of anykind

Thank you :)

For question 1 Photobox but they are a bit £ (well not sure as never got any before from else where) however they often have deals/discounts etc

Great thank you. I may even get them mounted on MDF like a few Banksy pics I have, I have found a place in Milton Keynes I have emailed. Seems quite cheap at £15.85 for 36"x24" onto 12mm mdf :)

First off, Digital photos don't have a DPI as such. It is simply there as a guide to guage print/display size and quality. What you have is a 2272x1704 image. For close up viewed photos 300DPI is the minimum print resolution, for something on a wall you should be able to drop to 150DPI. At 150DPI your maximum image size will be around 16" x 12". Anything bigger than that is going to lose quality.
