My Gun Can Store Over 1,000 Songs!

because this law would never be passed, remember the government isn't one body, they can't even get their own party to vote for their laws half the time, and this law would be unfeasable because of the likely hood of cards etc getting damaged frequently, and it would also be destroyed in the press, and such no mp would vote for it as it would be PR suicide.

Havant they passed a current law to detain a person for x amount of hours/days/weeks without charging them? Surely thats against human rights?

If they can pass that law, im pretty sure they can pass another law.

Arnt these chips going to cost us, the tax payer a silly amount of money? Even more so than an ID card scheme?

Nothing you would notice, they'll put the spin on it saying "these cards/implants will be used to store your medical information so we can help diagnose you faster" and "it'll remove the chip and pin system and make fraud a thing of the past"

People would then be up in arms, "Wow!, a centralised database making tracking criminals easier and helping cure the sick faster", but they wouldn't see the underlying point what I've been explaining.

Err we've always been able to hold people without charge for 14 days longer if the police could get a judge to sign off on it as necessary for the investigation.

Also no they didn't pass the 90 day limit, it failed in the commons. but did get a 28 day, for special/extreme cases.

What do you define as a terrorist? You cant generalise a Arab national as a "terrorist". Someone who protests against the government can be brandished a terrorist.

What are you talking about Arab national for and why are you focusing on just terrorists being Arabs? I havnt said Arab national anywhere.

In these cases it would be someone who is currently under Mi5 investigation and they already have evidence just not enough/still the possibility of getting someone higher up in the organisation.

All that google search does is prove that 7 out of ten images are from the middle east, while 1 is from a computer game and 2 are jokes.

Thats just to help me prove my point that most people think a terrorist is from the middle east and only from the middle east.

Ermm no it doesnt.

It shows that a small number web sites with pictures named 'terrorist' have pictures of them looking like a middle eastern style militia.
