Whats the best times to work out of these

8:00 to 16:00
9:00 to 17:00
10:00 to 18:00
11:00 to 19:00
12:00 to 20:00
12:00 to 21:00



basically in the office we are debating what time we should all be starting work as we are all a little too flexible at times. the directors pushing for 9:00 to 17:00 but i am 16 miles from work and do not drive which means i would need to be up at 5:30 to get the bus from the city centre at 6:30

so basically im just wondering what time everyone thinks is the best working time. for me its 10:00 to 18:00. thats about perfect.

I am not in your situation though regarding traveling to work.

Would totally depend on the commute for me. A longer commute I'd rather start an hour later, a tiny commute I wouldnt mind starting earlier.

I'd prefer 0800-1600, but would be able to live with 0900-1700.

If you need to travel for hours to get to work, perhaps you should move closer to work.

I work 8:30 till 5, and i like finishing at 5. 6 would just be too late, but starting at 8 is just a little too early!

0800-1600 personally as it you've got more time in the evenings free.

At my place you can work anytime in the range 08:00-16:00 and 10:00-18:00, (as we have to cover 08:00-18:00 in the office.

Personally I prefer working 08:00-16:00 but I work with a lot of people who prefer the latter.

Why would 12:00-21:00 ever be better than 12:00-20:00

Personally 9-5, although I can see the appeal of being able to go to bed straight after work, then wake up when you want in the daytime and have the day to yourself.
