We could really do ith a tit for tat kind of government, lets go for implementing holy roman law and reinstitute the inquisition. All non christians burn at the steak, after a totally long and brutal torture to gain their confessions. On the other hand we are not regressing back to the middle ages as they did. We have more sense (not our leaders though) but they would not like it too much if we went for archaic laws as they do, torture and burn, no our leaders appease and please.

Yes but that was because she revealed military information she shouldn't have known at the time and said it was because of a "seance" and so she may have had access to something she shouldn't and just used the witch thing as a cover, so they used the old laws to make sure she wouldn't be able to reveal anything about D-day etc if she did actually have a source, not because they truly thought her a which.

It is ridiculous, but I would be happy to let them live there lives the way they want to if we could live ours without outside influence as well.

Though I suppose the world is becoming a smaller place, where we all (unfortunately just now) need to interact. So ye we should try and help them see the errors of there ways, that we have already found out through experience.

And they would think you were a raving heratic, sentance, beheading. they would not listen and will no listen to anyone. They will just sit there and allow their country to be nuked if they thought they were standing up for their brand of militant islam shouting god is great as the missiles homed in overhead. You can't get through to anyone who will refuse to listen they will either stay like that forever or be overthrown by a coup, probably bringing in even harsher militant morons.
