Proportionally, it probably has compared to a million years ago.
possibly, depends if you count war as mass murder. it doesn't really show any sign of stopping though?

Ie. read the whole book not just the verse.
so why is mass murder not decreasing?

Convergent evolution, ad enough random numbers together and you will reach the same one eventually. Why do koala bears have finger prints indistinguishable from humans?
I can if you like, but it's quite complex and deals with the different covenants etc...

Please do, or is this your way of saying "errr well.. it sort of says it... if err your interpret it this way..err yea."
Also you say logic means that a Christian can see both sides of the morality abortion, yet refuse to believe that that an atheist would be able to use logic to decide, because they don't have a religious text to guide them.
There probably was an evolutionary advantage to being hostile to other "tribes" or packs, competing for food for example. I think that's been true until very recently in evolutionary terms. As such there wouldn't be a noticeable difference yet. Maybe in another million years there will be. It depends how society develops since we've come to the stage where our society influences which traits are beneficial for passing on our genes.
What do you mean by logical in this context?I'm busy I'll get back to this later as it's complex.
No, I didn't say a Christian could see both sides, not a "perfect" Christian.
Only liberal "Christians" believe abortion can be ok.
I'm saying that 'cause it's logical doesn't make it moral.
so what use does homosexuality have again?

So in the rest of the book of Leviticus is there a bit where it says "By the way, I was only joking about executing the gays"?

Random experiment, you seam to miss this little facet of evolution its not a guided and intelligent process its just random, some time it makes pointless curiosities sometimes it creates something spectacular.
it's logically OK to bang your mum, as if your both consenting it does no harm to anyone (although it does arguably, physiologically), but it's not ethical.
ahhhh I see now when you say Morals, what you mean to say is YOUR morals.
In which case this argument is totally pointless, because i do not have your parents nor know the intricate details of you r upbringing and their lives before and during.
so what use does homosexuality have again?
