I'm shocked at how much these chips are selling for now. Are people still interested in them at these prices?

A Q6600 in the members market is getting more and more attractive for me :)
Or I might stick with my £55 Intel 2180 that offers 90% of the 8400 stock performance for £150 less...

Decisions, decisions.

I'll be getting my Q9450 a good 3 or 4 weeks after they first come out. I bought my Q6600 on the first day and it dropped in price by a good 15% within the first week.

I'm so glad I put down my order for my Q9450 before the price jump from £215 to £250.

It's horrendous, but I guess the demand must be pretty mahoosive.

way to go OcUK lol

seriously they need to take a good look around to see how much competitors are selling at ;)

pointless buying a q6600 when the q9300 blows it away.

I think blows it away is a big overstatement tbh, even the Q9450 is only a few % quicker when both are at stock plus ...

Q9300 = £211
Q6600 = £170

Q9300 will prob top out around 3.4GHZ
Q6600 will do 3.6GHZ easy and some do 4GHZ = enough said :)

I'll buy it from you at £101

What do you say? ;):D

HAHA! Nope, this chip is a keeper... purrfect for the i975 board its going into :P

It wasn't all that long ago I paid £90 new for a Pentium D 805 .... how times move on. And boy was that an Overclocking experience. Wont be seeing a chip with a 20x multi anytime soon again :)
