Genuine Job and Title

I'll bet the job isn't as bad as it sounds (aside from the money obviously). For starters, it's pretty rare for any type of restaurants to peel potatoes. Decent restaurants buy them pre-peeled, and places like chip shops usually have a machine that does it.

How much preparation can you do with potatoes?

That's below minimum wage, so only U16s would be paid that much ^_^

Unders 18s would be paid that much, and 18-21 year olds would only be paid 60p more

I have a mate who peeled potatoes for the local chippy. He actually stuck it out for a few months at about £3.50 per hour.
