Sprite Slam Dunk!

Dwight Howard is the most athletic big man in the game today, if not ever! Gereld Green has mad bunnies, but Dwight had it all day! Bit disappointed with Jemario Moon, he's probably got the biggest leap out of them all, and done nothing eye catching!

Please, let's not get into 'jump talk' I obsess over it. I'm only 5'7 though, so for me to play, I guess I've got to jump. Made a few simple dunks in my time.

Check Dwight at 1.04: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m7tIfIkEM0

Check him again practicing this year!:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIz7sYjp1Sc

If you're 5'7" and you managed to throw one down I can but doff my hat to you as that is a remarkable achievement. It's taken me a few years to get my technique right to become a solid enough player to confidently dunk without need a special run up or whilst holding the ball - people don't realise how athletic you have to be to be a ball player. Also people think all the tall lanky guys have it easy, it's just not true, they have a lot of fluidity and speed in spite of their height - I can't stand it when people poopoo the skills of these tall men. However it must be said that the shorter people do have to be a bit more nimble and quick than their tall peers to have a chance against them in an attack or defense situation.

Agreed. Here's a simple dunk outside, only a football, but you get the idea.

I prefer to jump 2 footed though, I get about 39" on a good day.

There's this aswell.
